Music Festival Adjudicator
Olivia has five years of music festival adjudicating experience. She has adjudicated for the ACNMP Contemporary Showcase Festivals, Canadian Federated Music Teachers festivals, Ottawa Piano Festival, and festivals across Saskatchewan. Olivia adjudicates at multiple festivals each year for all levels of piano and sits on the board of the Ottawa Piano Festival. Consider booking Olivia for your next music festival! Music Workshops and Lectures
Olivia is in high demand as a speaker and lecture recitalist, giving workshops for the Music Teacher’s National Association, The Frances Clark Centre, Canadian Federation of Music Teachers, Ontario Registered Music Teachers, the Westfield Keyboard Society, as well as local music groups in the community. Her most popular workshop topics are gender in piano literature, the piano music of BIPOC female composers, cultural appropriation in piano music, and teaching contemporary music techniques to young students. In addition, Olivia guest lectures and gives workshops at universities in Canada and the United States on piano pedagogy and piano literature.
